Meet Dr. Foster
I’m Dr. Kara Foster, and I believe the foundation of real care is being heard. Over the years—as an optometrist, author, nonprofit leader, and healthcare reform advocate—I’ve witnessed firsthand how our system fails the very people it’s supposed to serve. It’s complicated, rushed, and built to treat symptoms instead of people.
But I’ve also seen what’s possible when we strip all that away. When care is simple. Personal. Honest. When prevention is prioritized, and patients are empowered through education. That’s the kind of care that sets people free.
Through my podcast, my practice, and my mission work, I help people see clearly, literally and figuratively. Because when you can see clearly, you can live fully.
My goal is simple: to help people live their best lives. Because I believe education isn’t just information, it’s liberation. It gives people back the power to control their future, their health, and their hope.
